Warm-up
(5 minutes)
- Teacher prepares a picture in which there are some school activites at recess.
- Teacher asks Ss some questions related to the activities in the picture.

+ What is the most popular activity at recess? What are they talking about?
- Teacher lead into the new lesson: I think that the most popular topic students often talk is about their schools. Today, you’ll study a new lesson. Unit 2 – School Talks
- Students close their books and listen to the teacher’s explanation and asnwer.
+ They are in the school yard.
+ Some Ss are playing marbles, others are eating and drinking. The other are talking or chatting with their friends.

- Ss listen and open the textbook to enter the new lesson.



Pre-reading

- Teacher asks Ss to work in pairs, asking and answering the questions given in the textbook.
- Teacher calls two pairs of Ss to present their topic.

Task 1
- Teacher asks students to read the text in silence for the first time to complete Task 1 individually.
- Teacher goes around the class and helps them correct any mistakes.
